Dr. David Chu is the owner of World Masters Speakers Bureau and he represents only nine speakers for lecture tours in China. I am honored to be among them. The list includes: Mark Victor Hansen, Brian Tracy, John Gray, Tom Hopkins, Bob Proctor, Roger Dawson, Jay Abraham and Joe Girard. Last July I toured China with Dr. Chu and had the best speaking tour of my 40 year career! The hospitality was overwhelming and the audiences were voracious for new ideas and motivation.
I toured Shang Hai, Cheng Du and Guang Zhou. In each city I gave a 6 hour presentation to 1,000 people with translator Peter Gau at my side. It was truly exhiliarating. In two presentations I also played guitar and sang as part of the event. Then one evening in Guang Zhou we went to a “millionaire’s club” where there was a grand opening event and lots of celebrities present. They asked me, on the spot, to perform and then handed me an electric guitar! But, hey, I’m up for a challenge so I accepted. I played two songs: Heartbreak Hotel and Brown Eyed Girl. It rocked the house. Almost none of them spoke English and I don’t speak Chinese but we truly connected that night. (Photo below)
Today I received this link from their division called “New Successmart” who produced this 3 min video to promote me in China. They positioned me as the #1 Speaker, a high compliment but I still have scores of excellent speakers to whom I look upward for excellence.

I will be returning to China over the coming years to build on what we have started and to nurture the newly formed China Speakers Association. While in Shang Hai I joined Dr. Chu and some of the leading speakers in China to sign the official documents for the formation of the China Speakers Association whose goal is to affiliate with the Global Speakers Federation as soon as they can meet the requirements.
If you have contacts or a branch or division in China and I can be of service to them while I’m there please let me know. The people of China are wonderful, enthusiastic, gracious and eager to learn. I can’t wait to return for more speaking and learning.
